How Texas’ Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office is investigating the murder of a pregnant woman

Tarrants County Medical Examiners office is reviewing whether to open an investigation into the murder last month of a woman who died after her boyfriend allegedly raped her.

The office has not yet released a statement about the investigation, but the county coroner’s office has said it will conduct a review of the case.

“We are reviewing the findings and will conduct an independent investigation when it becomes available,” the office said in a statement last week.

“The investigation will include a thorough review of all available facts and evidence.”

The office is not the only one in Tarrantes County to look into the incident, which took place on Nov. 7.

The Tarrance County Sheriff’s Office released a report last month detailing the investigation.

Deputy Chief Deputy Tom Haney told the Associated Press that the woman’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Matthew Tarrancy, was charged with two counts of murder, one count of rape and one count each of aggravated battery and criminal confinement.

The man’s lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The man’s family did not return phone messages left by The Associated Press on Wednesday.

The woman died at the hospital.

Her boyfriend is still at large.
