The Utah medical examiners office has cleared a former teacher who allegedly sexually abused his students after finding no evidence of wrongdoing.
The Utah Medical Examiner’s Office in the Salt Lake City area said Friday that the former teacher, who has not been named, is no longer employed by the school district.
It said the incident occurred in January 2016 and was investigated by school officials.
The former teacher is no long employed by Utah schools, but a school district spokeswoman said he remains employed as an oral examination examiner.
He was also a teacher at the Salt Creek Community Schools in nearby Cedar City.
